Make a Donation

If you, your company, or organization can donate equipment and other tangible items, it can be immediately be used to fight hunger. There is also a need for specialty services and volunteer labor. Look and see how you can help get the food to the hungry of Sacramento.

All of the Emergency Food Providers are listed aphabetically within each category. If you would like to learn more about the Food Closets in your area, our District information will be available shortly.

More volunteers always needed--particularly for less popular tasks like picking up food donations (other tasks include: pick-up and transport of food, sorting, shelving, distribution and record keeping).
South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership's Food Closet

Several key volunteers have retired in a short period and this food closet is desperately looking to replace them. Volunteers are needed-one day a week M-F from 9 am-Noon to pack grocery bags of food for needy clients.
