Food Inspection Search Page
Sure, you can practice proper food safety at home, but how do you
know what happens in the kitchen of your favorite restaurant? Sacramento
County's Food Protection Program now offers you that information.
On their new Food
Inspection Search Page, you can search for the latest food inspection
report for a restaurant, bar, market, school cafeteria, bakery,
mini-mart or convenience store. The report will tell you if the
food facility was in violation of any state or local health codes
and, if it was, what the observed violations were.
The Sacramento County Food Protection Program, part of the Environmental
Health (EH) Division of the Environmental Management Department,
is responsible for the enforcement of state and local health codes
at all retail food facilities in Sacramento County (including all
