Community Supported Agriculture

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) takes the relationship between the farmer and the consumer one-step closer than Farmers' Markets. When participating in a CSA, the consumer actually financially supports the farmer by purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables before they have even been planted! A community of supporters actually pools their money together to allow the farmer to purchase seeds and other supplies for his crop. When his crop is ready to be harvested, the financial supporters then get their money back in seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables all year long that have been picked the same day as delivery.
